A wonderful bangle from the turn of the last century, c1900. The bangle is made from garnet gold, a low grade gold that was often used in the setting of garnets during this period. It has a pale rosy hue. This bangle has a lovely modern feel with the rectangular cut, deep red garnets taking centre stage across the whole of the top of the wrist. They have minimal claw settings allowing the stones to really shine in their channel style setting. The bangle has a fairly substantial feel with a good secure clasp and a safety chain for extra security. It is beautifully made and looks wonderful on the wrist.
