A lovely simple ring from the late Edwardian period, dated Chester 1915. The ring is made from solid 9ct gold that has a definite rosy hue and has a lovely clear hallmark. The ring appears to be a plain oval signet ring, though it has a hidden secret. It is hinged to one side and the front panel opens to reveal a glass covered compartment inside. This frame can be removed to place your own photo behind. The panel closes on a secure clasp and there is a little fingernail space to allow you to open the locket. The ring is complete with a simple shank and is in lovely condition overall.
