Edwardian Lilac Guilloche Enamel Locket

A beautiful locket from the Edwardian period, c1905. The locket is made from 15ct gold and has wonderful guilloche enamel to the front and back. The front has a pretty zig zag style pattern in a lovely deep lilac colour. It is surrounded by a circle of white enamel and complete with a little pearl at the centre. To the back, the enamel continues and has a central glass locket with a gold rim that can be removed. Currently, a dashing gentleman from the period sits within the frame, though this picture could be removed if preferred. The locket slides out of place and fits securely in its mount.

Age - C1905

Size - The locket is approximately 25mm in diameter. The bail adds an extra 8mm to the length.

Condition - Very good. A little damage to the lilac enamel on the back beneath the bail. Very minor as enamel is still in good order, only lost a little of its sheen. Noted for accuracy only.
