Edwardian Old Cushion Cut Diamond Trilogy Ring
A beautiful and simple ring from the Edwardian period, c1915. The ring is made from 18ct gold with platinum settings, both marked on the inside of the shank. The diamonds are hand cut and are old cushion cuts with a pretty oblong shape and irregular facets. The tables are fairly small, classic to these cuts, and they each have large culets. The centre diamond measures approx 5.2mm by 4.1mm by 3.5mm making it around 0.55-0.6cts. The outer diamonds are between 0.15 and 0.2cts each. In total there is approximately 0.9cts in the ring overall. The diamonds are lovely and bright and are around H/I colour, SI clarity. A stunning trilogy ring with beautiful old diamonds.
