Edwardian Opal & Pearl Glass Locket
A lovely and unusual example of this style of locket from the Edwardian period. The locket is made from solid 9ct gold that has a 15ct wash over the top as is often the case with items from this period. It has a glass locket centre and a wonderful natural opal and pearl surround. This style of locket usually has turquoise or pearls as the surround and it is lovely to find one with a difference. The opals are beautifully fiery and exhibit plenty of colour throughout. Such a lovely example.
The glass can be removed from the front and sits in a gold surround. This allows you to place your own photo or momento inside. It sits securely in place. The chain pictured is for display only.
