Edwardian Opal Solitaire Ring

A lovely and simple ring from the Edwardian period. The ring is made from solid 9ct gold, which has a soft rosy glow as is customary of 9ct gold from this period. The ring is a simple bezel setting and has a lovely low dome natural opal set into it. The opal exhibits a soft rainbow and has a mildly lilac appearance with hints of reds, yellows, blues and purples in various lights. I love its mellow appearance and it is complimented by the soft rose of the gold perfectly.
