Edwardian Opal Trilogy Ring

A pretty and simple ring from the early 20th Century, c1900. The ring is made from 14kt gold and has a makers name on the inside of the shank, Ryrie Bros. On investigation, the Ryrie Brothers were a retail jeweller based in Toronto at the turn of the last Century. To the top of this ring are three beautiful opals. The opals are wonderfully colourful and really show the full spectrum of rainbow colours. They are securely claw set in a simple, classic setting and the ring has a real glow about it.

Materials - 14kt Gold (marked), Opals

Age - C1900

Size - Each opal measures approx 5mm by 3.5mm with one of the outer gemstones showing a touch smaller than the other two. The setting measures approx 11.5mm across.

Ring size UK N US 6 3/4 This ring could be resized

Condition - Very good. The surface of the opals show a little abrasion, though this is only visible through magnification and is noted for accuracy
