Edwardian Ruby & Diamond Circle Pendant

A pretty pendant from the late Edwardian period, c1915. The pendant came to me as it is, though it looks to me as if it has been made out of a single cuff link. The pendant is 18ct gold to the back with a platinum edge to the front. At the centre is a little quatrefoil flower of rubies and diamonds against a mother-of-pearl background. It is a classic design for a cuff link from this period, though it makes a very pretty pendant and has a little diamond studded bow added as the bail with a little pearl at the base. The bail is likely from the same period and this makes a pretty marriage.

The pendant will come on a similar 14kt gold fill chain.

Details:

Materials - 18ct Gold (tested), Platinum, Ruby, Diamond, Mother-of-Pearl

Age - C1915
