Edwardian Ruby, Diamond & Sapphire Trilogy Ring
A beautiful ring from the Edwardian period, c1905. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold that has a slight rosy tint. At the centre is a stunning cushion cut diamond measuring approx 4.8mm by 4.2mm and weighing approximately 0.4cts (based on the mm measurements in the setting). The diamond has beautiful clarity, around VS1, and is approx J colour.
On either side of the diamond, there is a ruby and a sapphire. The ruby has a lovely depth of colour and is a deep pink, whilst the sapphire is a beautiful blue with minimal grey undertones. The gemstones are well proportioned and have wonderful claw settings. A truly individual and interesting ring.
