Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring

sold out

A stunning ring from the Edwardian period, c1910s. The ring is made from solid 18ct yellow gold and has a wonderful natural sapphire in the centre set in a millegrain setting. The sapphire exhibits classic natural inclusions within the stone, including prominent angular growth banding with distinct sharp lines. The overall look of the sapphire is a gorgeous deep blue that contrasts perfectly with the rose cut diamond surround. The diamonds appear to be all original and create a pretty scalloped edge that sparkles beautifully.
