Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Ring

A beautiful and classic ring from the early 20th Century, c1910s. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has a lovely almost square blue sapphire at the centre. The sapphire is a pretty, vivid blue and is surrounded by 12 little old mine cut diamonds. The line of the setting follows the line of the diamonds giving the ring a pretty scalloped edge. The ring has an elegant gold shank and is very typical of the period.

Condition - Very good. A little surface scratch to the sapphire, noted for accuracy only and only visible through magnification.
