Emerald & Diamond Circle Cluster Ring

A wonderful ring from the early half of the 20th Century, c1930s-40s. The ring is made from 14ct gold that has a very slight rosy tint. To the top, there is a striking circular design with an interestingly cut emerald at the centre. It is a cross between a sugarloaf cabochon and a rose cut and is claw set. Surrounding this lovely emerald is a halo of six rose cut diamonds all set in triangular settings to make the outer line of the setting a circle. The stones are all set in platinum, whilst the rest of the ring is 14ct gold. A beautiful and unusual ring.
