Georgian 7 Stone Diamond Ring

£0.00
sold out

A wonderful ring from the Georgian period, early 19th Century. The ring has seven beautiful rose cut diamonds across the top with foil backs. The diamonds are graduated in size and are individually cut with each diamond being slightly different from the rest. They appear to be all original to the ring and glisten beautifully with the light catching each and every facet. Two of the central diamonds have a more yellow appearance whilst the others have the usual moody, grey undertones akin to rose diamonds from this period.

The diamonds are all hand set in silver and the ring is finished with an 18ct gold shank. The shank has a modern hallmark stating ‘au750’. This must have been added retrospectively to allow the ring to be sold in a retail shop.
