Georgian Blue Glass & Paste Large Pendant
A wonderful pendant from the Georgian period, c1810/20s. The pendant is made from low grade silver, likely 800 silver, and is entirely original. It has a central blue glass component with a diamond paste studded flower motif at the centre. This is surrounded by an ornate and beautiful decorative design. The design is set throughout with rose cut paste. The paste stones are fantastic and cut in such a way as to really mimic the sparkle of diamonds. The large pendant has two little pearl station chains at the top leading to a central glass and paste oval. A truly stunning and eye-catching piece.
The chain pictured is for display only. There is a little damage; please see the condition notes.
