Georgian Diamond Cluster Pendant

A beautiful pendant from the early 19th Century. The pendant appears to have been converted from a brooch, though it came to me as it is. It has a wonderful array of old rose cuts set into pinched collet settings. The settings are silver, as is customary of jewellery from this era, and the pendant is backed by gold. The brooch pin has been used to make a jump ring and a bail has been added. The centre stone is a lovely size measuring around 6.5mm by 4mm, not including the mount, and it glistens prettily with its rose facets. This is surrounded by a halo of diamonds. A true, eye-catching beauty.

The pendant will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.
