Georgian Garnet Trilogy Ring

£0.00
sold out

A stunning and unusual ring from the Georgian period, early 19th Century. The ring is made from 9ct gold and has the most beautiful ribbed shank, which has a hollow construction. The pattern follows all the way around and is in lovely condition. The ring has three stunning flat cut garnet gemstones set to the top in pie crust settings. Unusually, the garnets are rectangular cuts and are a beautiful rich red colour. The centre stone has some damage to two edges, please see the pictures. The gold setting appears to curve around these edges and this seems to make the damage only visible in certain lights. The stones are all secure and the price has been adjusted to reflect this.

This ring should be worn with care due to the age and the closed back nature of the stones.
