Georgian Silver Enamel Pink Paste Locket

sold out

A lovely locket from the Georgian period, early 1800s. The locket is made from silver with a gold wash in some places. It is French in origin and has beautiful black enamel with white dots; one of my favourite styles. It has an elaborate scrolled pattern with little seed pearls dotted about the design. It is set with four pink to purple pastes. The centre stone being larger than the other four. To the back, there is a glass covered hinged door. This opens and closes securely and could hold your own photo or momento inside. The locket is complete with a silver split ring meaning that it could be added to any chain or other jewellery ensemble.

The chain pictured is for display only.
