A wonderful shaped seal from the Georgian period, c1820s. The seal tests as 9ct and has a lovely antique rosy tint to the gold. This is a simple Georgian seal with a checkerboard base carved into the gold and a beautiful teardrop shaped bail. Simple, yet effective and a real classic.
