Georgian Turquoise Solitaire Ring
A pretty and elegant ring from the late Georgian period, c1830s. The ring is made from 15ct gold and has a hollow construction as can be the case during this period. The mount has pretty decorative shoulders that have worn a little over time, though still exhibit pretty foliate designs. At the centre is a lovely natural turquoise. The turquoise is a pretty sea green colour with a darker green rim towards the setting edge. A lovely antique ring with plenty of charm.
