A wonderful and rare piece from the late Victorian period. The pendant has been made from gun metal and is in the shape of an envelope. the envelope opens via the hinged flap on the front and you could add your own photos inside in the style of a locket. Often, these envelopes would have been used to hold stamps and this one is finished beautifully with a little turquoise glass cabochon. A lovely collectors piece.

Size - The envelope measures approx 30mm long excluding the bail by 23mm wide.

Condition - Very good. A couple of very minor rust patches as you would expect from a piece of this age. A little kink in the front flap, noted for accuracy only, please see the photos.
