Late Georgian Flat Cut Garnet Conversion Ring
A stunning piece from the late Georgian period that has been converted into a ring. The top is a wonderful flower design full of flat cut garnets set in 15ct gold. This likely started life as a brooch and has been converted later adding a 15ct gold shank that is very much in keeping with the period. The flower is a lovely large size making a bold statement on the hand and is very comfortable on the finger.
This ring should be worn with care due to the closed back nature of the stones and the construction of the piece.
