A lovely example of this traditional style from the late Victorian period, dated Birmingham 1892. The ring is made from 15ct gold and the shank is a hollow construction, making it feel a little lighter than it looks. It has a beautiful crisp hallmark on the inside of the shank and wonderful repoussé work in the shoulders. At the centre is a pretty bloodstone. The bloodstone is a deep green with fine speckles of red. The red speckles are very subtle and the overall appearance of the stone is green. The gold has a beautiful bloom and this is a fine original ring.

The ring comes in a leather antique ring box that may be the original. It is fairly well loved and is included in the purchase.
