sold out

A stunning ring from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has the most amazing old mine cut diamond at the centre surrounded by cushion cuts, all set in a flower formation. The diamonds are wonderful chunky examples with high tables that sit proud of the setting. They are all original and the ring has little diamond chips set into the claws. This is a classic style to the period and this example is very beautiful.

The central diamond is around 3.2mm in diameter and the cushion cuts are approx 3.2mm by 2.8mm each. In total, based on the approximate measurements in the settings, a conservative estimate for the diamond weight would be 1.2cts in total. The overall clarity is around SI1 and colour is in the H/I region. A truly beautiful ring in excellent condition.
