Victorian 22ct Black Opal Ring

£0.00
sold out

A pretty solitaire ring from the late Victorian period, c1900. The ring is made from 22ct gold, marked on the inside of the shank, and has a simple black opal set in a rub over setting. The opal is a natural stone and exhibits beautiful play of colour throughout with hints of green, red and blue. The gold is a lovely rich colour and compliments the ‘stormy’ stone perfectly.

This ring should be worn with care due to the nature of the stone.
