A lovely brooch from the end of the Victorian period, dated Birmingham 1899. The brooch is made from 9ct gold and has a hollow construction giving it a lightweight feel and allowing it to be worn on a sweater or jacket without falling forwards. It has been made in the shape of a Celtic harp and has beautiful applied shamrocks on the front. The craftmanship is very beautiful and it has a lovely full English hallmark to the back.
