sold out

An unusual necklace from the mid Victorian period, c1860s. The necklace is made from 9ct gold and the pendant is an interesting articulated multi drop design. The stones are a type of agate or bloodstone with a very dark black/green background and flashes of red throughout. They have been set in pinched collet settings and present plenty of movement throughout the piece as they hang on a length of chain to complete the pendant. The chain is also 9ct gold and could be a replacement to the original, though it is very much in keeping with the design of the period. The chain has a good barrel clasp and the necklace creates a strong look on the neck.

The chain is removable and could be used with other pendants, though this pendant will come with the chain pictured.
