Victorian Blue Enamel Seed Pearl Cross Locket
A stunning locket from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The locket is made from silver and has turquoise blue enamel applied all around the outside. At the front is a beautiful stylised cross that has been set with seed pearls throughout. The locket has the original bail and the original frames with their glass inside. These can be removed to place your own photos behind. This piece is beautifully made and has an excellent secure click to the closure. The silver shows remnants of gold gilding though this has worn with age.

Size - The locket measures approx 36mm long excluding the bail by 29mm wide. The bail adds an extra 12mm to the length.
Condition - Very good. Some wear commensurate with age. No notable chips to the main enamel. A little ragged on the enamel around the edges of the bail, noted for accuracy only.
