Victorian Coral Harp Watch Key
A lovely watch key from the Victorian period, c1880s. The key is made from 9ct gold and is in the shape of a harp. The column of the harp is a cylindrical piece of vibrant coral with the strings made of rope twist gold and the soundboard featuring some engraving. The base of the harp has a round sardonyx gemstone set into it and the utmost care and attention has been paid to every detail. The top of the column is the watch key and the harp hangs at a slight angle as the bail is at the top of the soundboard. Such a lovely design and unusual to find.
