Victorian Curb Chain with Extender
A wonderful chain from the late Victorian period, c1890s. The chain is made from solid 9ct gold with a rosy hue as is often the case with antique 9ct gold. It is a simple cable link chain with a dog clip fastening and has a decorative panel extender with another dog clip at the end. The chain can be worn at two different lengths; at the shorter length with the panel hanging down or with the panel incorporated into the length and just the dog clip hanging down. It is a lovely example and ideal to add either a bunch of charms or a favourite pendant.
