Victorian Diamond Heart Locket

sold out

A pretty little heart locket from the late Victorian period, c1890s. The locket is made from soft, pale 9ct gold. It is a back and front meaning that the outer back and front are solid thick sheets of 9ct gold with a metal interior. This was a common method of construction for lockets such as these during this period. At the centre front is a pretty little rose diamond in a star setting. The locket has the original heart shaped frames on the inside that can be removed to place your own pictures behind.

The chain pictured is for display only. Please contact me if you would like to include this.
