A lovely fob from the mid Victorian period. The fob is made from pinchbeck; an imitation gold that was popular during this period. It has a pretty, decorative mount with floral motifs and a slight crown appearance. Set into the bottom is a glass seal, which is fairly black in colour and has a stunning carving of a forget-me-not flower with the words ‘FORGET-ME-NOT’ arched over the top. The seal is in beautiful condition and the mount has a fairly decent sized bail for a chain (around 3.2mm inner diameter).

The chain pictured is for display only.
