Victorian Garnet & Diamond Ring

sold out

A pretty and elegant ring from the late Victorian period, c1890s, with an Art Nouveau feel. The ring is made from solid 15ct gold and has five beautiful almandine garnets set across the finger. The garnets have the lovely soft pink/purple colour that is synonymous with this variation of garnet. The gemstones are set in a line with little rose cut diamond set claws. The shoulders of the shank are wonderfully decorative and almost look like little elephants! So unusual.

This ring should be worn with care due to the nature of the setting and is for occasional use.
