Victorian Garnet & Pearl Earrings
A beautiful pair of earrings from end of the 19th Century, c1890s. The earrings are made from solid 15ct gold and are classic in their style. They are elegant drops with two little pearls along a chain. At the bottom is a wonderful pear shaped garnet. The garnets are a rich pink/red colour and are borderline almandine garnets. They are faceted perfectly to allow the light to bounce around in the stone and sit in gold pitched collet settings. A wonderful example; these are getting much harder to find these days.

Size - The garnets measure approx 8mm by 6.5mm. The earrings measure 23.5mm long excluding the hook
Condition - Very good. One garnet has an internal flaw. It is not surface reaching and the stone is stable.
