A wonderful and rare bracelet from the Victorian period. The bracelet is made from 800 silver, marked on the inside with a tab. It has been made in the shape of a horseshoe with gold over silver panels to represent the nails for the shoe. The bracelet opens on a sprung hinge to one end and slides over the wrist sitting as a fairly chunky style. The spring is very secure and the bracelet stays in place perfectly. It has a medium weight cable link safety chain and is stunning quality. Such a rare and fantastic piece.

Age - Victorian

Size - The bracelet is approx 10mm wide when viewed from the top. The internal diameters are 2 1/2" across and 1 3/4" high; these are the internal measurements of the horseshoe and do not include the safety chain. It fits a small to medium wrist well. As it is an open style, it slides onto the wrist from the side.

Condition - Excellent. Some wear commensurate with age and some patina to the silver.
