Victorian Micro Mosaic Cross Necklace
A beautiful antique cross necklace from the Victorian period. The necklace is made from silver and has a stunning design made from tesserae (small tiles) to form a micro mosaic. The mosaic is full of forget me not flowers and has a dove of peace at the centre. It is in beautiful condition with the original chunky patterned bail and hangs on an antique silver chain, complete with barrel clasp.

Size - The cross measures approx 39mm by 24.5mm excluding the bail and bobbles on the end of the arms. Including the bail, it is around 56mm long. The chain is approx 1.8mm wide and is around 17” long
Condition - Very good. Minimal wear commensurate with age.
