Victorian Mother-Of-Pearl Loupe

A lovely find! This little loupe is from the late Victorian period and has a mother-of-pearl front and back with 9ct soft rose gold fittings. The loupe opens on a hinge to the bottom and has a magnifying glass inside. The magnifier still works and I have found that you can view close up detail, though there is some scratching to the centre, from age and use.

The chain pictured is for display only.
