Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Cluster Ring
A stunning ring from the late Victorian period, c1890s. The ring is made from 18ct gold and is full of beautiful old mine cut chunky diamonds. The diamonds are all original and claw set in a stunning floral cluster to create a lovely example of this style of ring. The centre stone is around 4mm in diameter and is surrounded by eight diamonds measuring around 2.2mm each. Given these measurements, there is approximately 0.75cts of diamonds in total in the ring. The diamonds are around H/I colour, SI clarity with some very minor carbon spots visible through magnification only. It is hard to find an example of this style with stunning old cut diamonds that are all original. A true antique beauty.
This ring should be worn with care given the fine claw setting to the outer edge of the ring. It is best suited to occasional wear.
