A pretty and classic locket from the Victorian period, c1880s. The locket is made from gold coloured metal and is pavé set to the front with little natural turquoise gemstones. The turquoise have an overall vibrant appearance with some colour variation throughout. They all appear to be original to the piece. To the back is a locket door, which opens on a hinge. Inside the gold colour of the metal has been well preserved. The door of the locket is engraved with a grapevine; a symbol that is associated with fertility and prosperity. Such a pretty little locket.

The chain pictured is for display only.
