Victorian Pavé Turquoise Pendant

£0.00
sold out

A beautiful pendant from the mid to late Victorian period. The pendant is made from 15ct gold and is a hollow construction. It is likely to have been converted from a large stick pin, though it came to me as it is. The turquoise is lovely and bright with only a little variation in the colour as you would expect from antique pavé turquoise. Somehow, the arrangement of the turquoise creates a flower design at the centre and gives the illusion of a scalloped edge. A lovely, pretty pendant.

The pendant will come on a 14kt gold fill chain similar to the one pictured.

Details:

Materials - 15ct Gold (tested), Turquoise

Age - Mid to Late Victorian

Size - The pendant measures approx 16.5mm in diameter, excluding the bail.

Condition - Very good. Some wear commensurate with age. Three holes in the back, two pinprick sized and one larger, likely remnants of the fitting that was originally there.

Weight - 3g pendant only.
