Victorian Rainbow Gemstone Ring

A lovely ring from the Victorian period, c1890s. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and has three pretty gemstones across the finger. The centre stone is a garnet with a pretty deep pink/purple undertone edging towards a rhodolite garnet. This is flanked by a pale blue aquamarine and a pale lemon citrine on either side. It is an unusual harlequin style and is finished with little ball accents and a ribbed shank.

Age - Late 19th Century

Size - The central garnet measures approx 8mm by 7mm. The outer gemstones are around 7mm by 5mm. The whole setting measures approx 19mm across the finger by 12.5mm up the finger.

Ring Size - UK M 1/4 US 6 1/2 This ring could be resized a little. The rib design may be lost at the point of sizing.

Condition - Very good. Some gentle wear to the facets, commensurate with age. A little lead repair behind one of the central bobbles, noted for accuracy only.
