Victorian Sharks Tooth Pendant

A wonderful example of Victorian artefact jewellery. The Victorians loved to travel and explore and often brought home souvenirs, which they mounted in gold to be worn. This particular example is a sharks tooth and it has been simply set with a 9ct gold flat wire wrap. The tooth itself is very solid and is a charcoal grey colour with various different shades and textures. The pendant has a good solid bail and could be worn on slightly thicker chains.
