Victorian Silver Albertina Bracelet

sold out

A pretty double row bracelet from the Victorian period. The bracelet has been made from an albertina chain and has the two rows soldered into decorative links at either end making them very secure in this formation. One row has alternating twisted bar and geometric links and is complete with the original t-bar decoration at the centre. The other row is a plain twisted chain. The bracelet is complete with a lovely large bolt ring clasp. When laid flat the plain rope row appears shorter than the other, though when worn on the wrist, the two rows rest together perfectly and this is likely by design.
