sold out

A lovely pendant from the Victorian period, c1870s. The pendant is made from low grade silver, that was likely gilded at some point, though it has lost most of the gilding over time. It started life as a brooch and has been converted into a pendant. The pendant is a beautiful domed shape with pavé set natural turquoise throughout the front. The turquoise varies in colour across the pendant and has predominantly green tones. It looks beautiful on a long or short chain and is a decent size.

Details:

Materials - Low Grade Silver, Turquoise

Age - Mid Victorian

Size - The pendant measures approx 19.5mm in diameter

Condition - Good. There is a dip to the dome on the front, likely always there as the turquoise is undamaged. Where the brooch has been converted, you can see the remnants of the clasp on the back, noted for accuracy only and not visible when worn.

Weight - 3.91g
