Victorian Style Garnet & Diamond Star Ring
A stunning ring seemingly from the late 20th Century, made in the Victorian style. The ring is made from solid 9ct gold with a high carat gold wash on the setting. It holds a beautiful deep red cabochon garnet, which is an unusual pear shape and looks like some of the earlier heart shaped rings. At the centre of the garnet, there is a gold star, which has been sent with a rough cut rose diamond. Such a beautiful, statement ring.
This ring could very well be original Victorian, though there are no hallmarks to confirm this and it is not obvious from the construction. In light of this, I have erred on the side of caution.
