A gorgeous large scale locket from the Victorian period. The locket is made from sterling silver and covered entirely with stunning turquoise enamel. The enamel is in excellent condition apart from a knick to the back just below the bail (pictured). The bail is a lovely large size allowing a good size chain to be threaded through and is also covered with enamel.

At the centre are the letters AEI, picked out in pretty natural seed pearls. AEI is an oft seen trio of letters from this period and stands for Amity, Eternity, Infinity. It is a symbol of eternal love that is said to last even beyond death. Inside this locket there are frames on each side that can be removed to place your own photos behind.

The chain pictured is for display only.
