Victorian Turquoise & Gold Locket

A stunning locket from the mid Victorian period. The locket is made from solid 15ct gold and has the most amazing large natural turquoise set at the centre of a wonderful gold design. The gold is decorated with pretty gold wire designs and studded with little individually set turquoise. The central stone is a beautiful, vibrant colour with a smooth surface, and shows its natural matrix to the back. At the back of the locket is a glass covered frame that can be removed to place your own photo behind. Such a stunning and eye catching piece.

Size - The locket measures approx 28mm long excluding the bail and is around 25mm wide.

Condition - Excellent. A little colour variation in the turquoise as you would expect.
