Vintage 18ct Snake Signet Ring
An unusual signet ring from the first half of the 20th Century, c1930s. The ring is made from 18ct gold and the top has a hollow construction making the ring fairly lightweight. It has a plain square plaque at the centre with a snake curling up one shoulder and around the top with the snake head on the square. There is a little natural opal set fairly flush with the setting. The ring has interesting stepped shoulders that are very Art Deco in style and it is very comfortable to wear.
This ring should be worn with a little care due to the hollow construction and the shallow setting of the opal.
