Vintage Aquamarine Wide Band Ring

sold out

A gorgeous and unusual ring from the mid to late 20th Century, dated London 1975. The ring is made from 9kt gold and has an interesting multi claw setting. The setting holds an unusually cut aquamarine, confirmed by Wards in Hatton Garden. It appears as though the aqua is a cabochon cut that has been set the other way around. There is a lovely smooth surface to the top and a domed smooth surface underneath. The multi claw setting has been made beautifully and hugs the aquamarine beautifully.

The setting sits on a wide gold band. The combination is very striking and this ring is very different from the rest.
