Vintage Bi-Colour Gold Knot Earrings
A lovely pair of earrings from the late 20th Century, c1980s. The earrings are made from 9ct gold with both yellow and rose gold intertwined with each other to make chunky knots. Knots are generally said to symbolise infinity and unity. These earrings are a good size making a real statement in the ear and hallmarked on the stem.
The butterflies are matching and are stamped with UnoAErre, an Italian maker of good quality everyday gold jewellery. These earrings could very well be from this brand as they are the sort of thing that they make, though the butterflies could also be replacements.
