Vintage Bi-Colour Tank Bracelet

A stunning bracelet from the middle of the 20th Century, c1940s/50s. The bracelet is made from 14kt gold and bears an Austrian hallmark. It has central links of rose gold whilst the outer links are yellow gold. The combination is wonderfully striking and though the links have a hollow construction, they are of the utmost quality. This makes the bracelet very wearable as it is not overly heavy on the wrist. It has a secure hidden clasp and a little catch for extra security.

Tank bracelets are so called due to their likeness to tank tracks. They became very popular during this mid century period.

Size - The bracelet is around 17mm wide and is approx 7” long.

Condition - Excellent. NB: The test mark will be cleaned from the tongue of the clasp.
